Voluntary Dismissal of PIP Suit

Kara Byrnes, of the Jacksonville office, recently obtained a voluntary dismissal in a PIP suit. The Plaintiff’s medical provider had initiated a declaratory judgment action regarding the proper insurance company to provide coverage for the treatment rendered to the assignee. However, Kara determined there was a lack of evidence to support timely submission of the bills for treatment. After presenting the same to Plaintiff’s counsel, Plaintiff’s counsel agreed to completely dismiss the case.
