Voluntary Dismissal in Property Damage Case

Sarah Goldberg, of the Miami office, obtained a voluntary dismissal in a first party property damage case, where a roof leak claim was denied by the Insurer. This dismissal by Plaintiff’s counsel, came on the eve of the Summary Judgment hearing. This case has had extensive discovery that took place over the last one and a half years and over the course of the litigation, Plaintiff was seeking interior damages to the property, the cost of replacement of the roof, and attorneys’ fees and costs.
