Rebecca L. Brock, a sixth generation Florida native, is a partner with the law firm of Kubicki Draper, P.A., a law firm specializing in civil trial, appellate, and coverage matters. Rebecca is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Law. Rebecca graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 1998 with a Book Award for academic excellence in Trial Practice. She earned her bachelor’s degree, with honors, from the University of Florida in 1994, and was selected for membership in Florida Blue Key. Rebecca began her legal career as a prosecutor with the State Attorney’s Office of the 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County. As an Assistant State Attorney, she tried over 50 cases in the felony, misdemeanor and domestic battery divisions. Rebecca has developed a complex civil trial practice that includes the defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims, professional liability claims, premises liability and negligent security claims, business disputes, insurance coverage disputes, complex multi-party litigation, bad faith and claims handling. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida and has tried numerous civil cases to verdict.

Rebecca has maintained an AV-preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 2005, and has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers and Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite for her expertise in civil litigation. She served as President of the Palm Beach Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), one of the most highly respected organizations in the nation for civil trial lawyers, in 2020, and is currently the Treasurer of FLABOTA. Rebecca was selected for membership in the International Society of Barristers (ISOB), an invitation-only organization which seeks to honor attorneys who have distinguished themselves as outstanding in the field of trial advocacy.
 

Rebecca presently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for the University of Florida College of Law, and the Board of Directors of the University of Florida Alumni Association. Rebecca serves on the Board of Directors of ChildNet, the organization chosen by the State of Florida to manage the protection of abused, abandoned and neglected children in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. She is an Emeritus member of the Craig S. Barnard Inns of Court in Palm Beach County. Rebecca is active in the Palm Beach County Bar where she served on the Board of Directors for the North County Section, which promotes professionalism and gives back to its local community.
 

Rebecca has lectured on topics including bad faith, excessive billing, ethics, professionalism, negligent security, nursing home negligence, trucking accidents, and proposals for settlement.
