Property & Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB) 2026 Claims Conference

Sarah Goldberg (Miami) and Kara Byrnes (Jacksonville), along with forensic engineer Jordan Kays of Rimkus, will present an engaging, practical session—“Blown Away and Flooded Out: Challenges in Wind and Water Claims”—at the PLRB Claims Conference.

The presentation will explore the complexities of wind, water, and combined loss claims, highlighting how legal strategy and forensic engineering work together to support accurate, defensible claim decisions. Using real-world case examples and scientific analysis, the presenters will discuss investigative tools, early-use strategies, and documentation practices that help claims withstand scrutiny from initial evaluation through litigation.

Hosted by the Property & Liability Resource Bureau, the annual PLRB Claims Conference brings together claims professionals from across the country to exchange insights and stay ahead of evolving issues in property insurance. If you’re attending, be sure to connect with Sarah and Kara!
