Michael Carney participated in Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Ethical Governance Day. The Miami-Dade School Board sponsors this day to bring volunteers into the classroom to speak to students about the significance of civic participation. This year, Michael was honored to be asked to present to a group of honor students at Miami Senior High School about the importance of civil discourse on important topics. Michael has participated in this program for approximately ten years now and finds value in discussing with students ethical values that empower them to be role model citizens.
