This hour of continuing education will address how the unfortunate exploitation of humans impacts the hospitality, retail, housekeeping and agricultural industries from a legal perspective. This course will focus upon recognizing, preventing and confronting human trafficking. This course will also address the various causes of action that may be pursued in federal and state circuit courts by victims of human trafficking, as well as how to evaluate and defend against these claims.
