Come travel down the spooky road of creepy crawlers and illegal activities that may sneak into your claims handling practice. We will discuss liability issues that hospitality, retail, and other businesses may encounter when there are Bugs, Drugs, and Thieves presenting issues on an insured’s premises. Participants will learn what duties are owed to guests and what may give rise to claims of negligence. They will learn about specific facts that may constitute foreseeable risks and what actions may be taken to keep record evidence that they have complied with their duties of care under Florida law based on previous cases.
