Joseph Monte focuses his practice on Personal Injury Protection claims. His litigation experience is relied upon by the firm in preparation for trial when conducting complex discovery. He has often been successful in obtaining dismissals through motion practice.
Joseph has litigated hundreds of Personal Injury Protection claims. He has drafted and argued Motions for Summary Judgment, Motion for Sanctions, and has traveled the State of Florida zealously representing the rights of the insurers.
Along with litigating a number of important issues that come up with Personal Injury Protection claims, Joseph has taken many EUOs and depositions of Corporate Representatives and insureds.
Prior to starting at Kubicki Draper, Joseph worked at the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office where he represented thousands of indigent clients, tried close to fifty jury trials, and litigated hundreds of motions to suppress.
Joseph graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2011. Where he served as the president of the Florida Law Student Association. Prior to law school, Joseph graduated from The University of South Florida in 2007. While at USF, Joseph was a student senator, a member of Beta Theta Pi National Fraternity, and president of the College of Arts & Sciences.
In his extra time, Joseph is a barrister in the Tampa Bay Inns of Court and serves as an advisor to Beta Theta Pi National Fraternity.
