Jonathan Marcelo focuses on construction defects, premises liability, products liability and other commercial litigation cases.
Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law, where he served as first-year and second-year representative of the Student Bar Association, treasurer of the Law School Council, member of the Raising the Bar Student Advisory Board and staff editor for the Florida State University Law Review.
While in law school, Jonathan served as a legal extern for U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida, where he worked on criminal prosecutions as well civil litigation under the Federal Tort Claims Act. In addition, Jonathan served as a legal extern for the General Counsel’s Office at the Florida House of Representatives, a legal intern for The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and worked for a prominent lobbying firm in Tallahassee.
Prior to law school, Jonathan worked as a paralegal at a boutique insurance defense firm in Tallahassee, Florida.
