Homestead Protections Do Not Prevent Assignment of Post-Loss Benefits

In All Insurance Restoration Services, Inc. v. American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida, 4D21-99 (Fla. 4th DCA March 23, 2022), the Fourth DCA held the Florida Constitution’s homestead exemptions have no application to an insured’s post-loss assignment of benefits under a homeowner’s policy.
