Great Trial Result in Trucking Accident Case

Sean O’Neil and Kendra Therrell, of our Jacksonville office, obtained a favorable result following a five-day trial in a disputed-liability trucking accident in Duval County. The last demand from Plaintiff was $750,000, and our last offer was $100,000.  While not the straight defense verdict we had hoped for (based on Plaintiff running a red light and slamming into our 18-wheeler on the rear tandem tires), the jury found that the majority of the negligence was on Plaintiff (57.5%), and the net verdict against our client is $276,087.65.
