Florida Supreme Court Amends Appellate Rules to Permit Immediate Appeals from Orders Granting or Denying Amendments to Add Punitive Damages

Florida’s highest court amended Rule 9.130, Fla. R. App. P, to allow for the immediate appeal of a trial court’s order granting or denying leave to amend a complaint to add a claim for punitive damages, effective April 22, 2022. Read more HERE.
