Yesenia Lara is an experienced civil litigator with over 13 years of experience representing clients in a wide range of legal matters, including complex commercial litigation, class action lawsuits, multi district litigation, product liability, insurance defense, negligent security, personal injury, wrongful death, and appellate matters across Florida.

A Miami native, Yesenia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminology, with a minor in Latin American Studies, from University of Florida. She went on to obtain her law degree from Florida State University College of Law, where she also earned a certificate in International Law.

Yesenia is a member of the Florida Bar, the D.C. Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Seventh Circuit.

Beyond her legal practice, Yesenia has been actively involved in community service. She served on the Community Zoning Appeals Board for Area/Subarea 14-142 in Miami-Dade County and, from May 2017 to May 2018, was a member of the Miami-Dade County Urban Expansion Area Task Force, appointed by Miami-Dade County Mayor, Carlos Giménez.
