Vanessa Gerlich focuses her practice on automobile and motorized vehicles, construction defect and premises liability matters.

She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. Vanessa then obtained her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where she was actively involved in organizations such as the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Her externships included valuable experience at The City of St. Petersburg Attorney’s Office and the in-house counsel for IRONMAN Triathlon Corporation.

Prior to joining Kubicki Draper, Vanessa handled personal injury and insurance defense litigation. She gained unique insight having worked on cases from both the plaintiff and defense side.

Vanessa was born in Germany and grew up Florida. In her free time, she enjoys going boating, working out, traveling, and watching football.
