Michelle Krone is board certified by the Florida Bar in Construction Law. She joined Kubicki Draper in February of 2000 and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the firm’s Construction Practice Group. Michelle exclusively practices in the area of construction, including insurance defense litigation and transactional work. She has successfully represented both national and local general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in a variety of complex construction lawsuits. Her expertise extends to pre-suit and 558 phases, product liability issues, disciplinary matters and contract negotiation, including matters related to architects and engineers liability.

Her notable projects include multi-million dollar condominium developments, large hotel constructions and sports arena projects. Among her achievements is her role in negotiating the contract for the renovation project at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Stadium and overseeing unique structures like the Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral.

Michelle is experienced in representing construction clients in multi-party arbitrations and mediations. She is also a Supreme Court of Florida Qualified Arbitrator and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit/Civil Mediator. Additionally, she has shared her knowledge by presenting at continuing education presentations focused on construction law. Michelle is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University (B.A. 1996) and St. Thomas University School of Law (J.D. 1999).
