Michael Valverde handles construction defect litigation and other construction related issues, as well as first party property matters. Prior to joining Kubicki Draper, Michael had his own practice with a partner in Orlando, Florida, where he focused on community association representation and family
law.

Michael has also worked as an attorney for Legal Services of North Florida, Inc., a legal aid organization in Tallahassee, Florida; where he provided counsel and representation to low-income families on a wide array of legal issues. Prior to his work with Legal Services, he’s lived in the Naples/Fort Myers area for several years and worked as a law clerk for a labor & employment attorney, assisting in the representation of clients on employment and civil litigation matters.

Michael is a proud graduate of the Florida State University College of Law, where he earned a book award in education law and served on the executive committee for the Public Interest Law Students Association. Since his admission to practice in 2011, Michael has lectured on self-representation in family law cases, served as a Guardian ad Litem, and served as a panel judge for the American Collegiate Moot Court Association’s 2012 competition at the University of Central Florida.
