Marie Laur handles complex litigation matters in various areas of the law, including automobile and motorized vehicles, defamation, first-party property claims, insurance coverage and medical malpractice, and premises liability cases.

A Florida native, Marie knew from high school she wanted to be a lawyer and fight for justice. She earned her bachelors degree in political science from Stetson University with minors in psychology and business law, before obtaining her juris doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2015.

Throughout law school, Marie worked as a paralegal in various areas of the of law to determine what type of law she preferred. Through this time, she developed key skills in client communication, attention to detail and a passion for advocacy – qualities that continue to define her successful approach to client representation.
