Maria Gerasikova focuses her practice in the areas of insurance and general liability defense, including personal injury, premise liability, automobile liability, negligent security, and insurance coverage disputes.

Before joining Kubicki Draper, Maria began her career as a plaintiff’s litigation attorney. She brings with her a unique perspective that allows her to better defend and advise clients.

Maria graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Political Science, Philosophy, and French, and she completed her J.D. at Emory University School of Law. While in law School, Maria was recognized as a Graduating Woman of Excellence. She was finalist of multiple national trial advocacy competitions, as well as a recipient of Kessler-Eidson scholarship, given to students with the highest achievements in trial advocacy at Emory University.

During her law school years, Maria clerked at the renowned Keenan Law Firm, which specializes in handling complex and catastrophic personal injury cases. Maria also clerked at the Fulton County District Attorney’s office and the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
