Maria Freire’s practice spans a broad range of areas with a focus on construction. Her experience also includes automobile and motorized vehicle law, with a particular emphasis on Fraud/SIU/EUO (Special Investigation Unit/Examinations Under Oath) and personal injury protection matters. As a Honduran-Portuguese American, Maria brings a rich cultural perspective to her legal practice.
Commencing her academic journey at the University of Central Florida, Maria graduated with honors, majoring in political science. She continued her education at Stetson College of Law, actively engaging in various legal organizations such as the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the Hispanic Bar Association, the Insurance Law Association, and the Environmental Law Society. Notably, Maria volunteered at the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program during her studies, extending her expertise to assist those in need with their tax returns.
Beyond law, Maria’s interests include building computers, coding, and exploring different parts of the world through travel.
