Marc de Lavalette focuses his practice in the areas of insurance and general liability defense with an emphasis on premises liability including negligent security, automobile liability, and insurance coverage disputes.

Before joining Kubicki Draper, Marc began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County, Georgia. There, Marc handled hundreds of cases ranging from thefts to violent crimes, and he worked closely with opposing counsels and victims to resolve cases in a timely and satisfactory manner. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Marc continued his career as a plaintiff’s attorney in civil litigation. This experience has allowed him to develop a unique perspective in handling cases and the insight allows him to better serve and advise his clients.

Born in Paris, France, Marc obtained a double degree in French Civil and English Common Law and a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Universite Paris X – Nanterre. Upon moving to the United States, Marc attended and graduated from Emory University School of Law where he served as the Vice-President for the National Security and Military Law Society and was recognized as one of the top 10% Oral Advocate of his promotion.
