Allen Gaffney focuses his legal practice on insurance defense, with a primary emphasis on construction defect litigation. With over a decade of experience, Allen brings both a deep understanding of client concerns and the refined legal skills necessary to address them efficiently and effectively. Known for a hands-on, client-centered approach, Allen emphasizes active listening, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving to help clients achieve their goals. This practical mindset is rooted not only in legal experience but also in a personal background—having grown up in a blue-collar family still active in the construction industry.

Before joining the firm, Allen practiced extensively in insurance defense, concentrating on personal injury protection (PIP) disputes across the State of Florida. His litigation experience includes drafting and arguing a wide range of motions, from Motions to Dismiss to Summary Judgment, and carrying cases through to trial. Allen has also been invited to speak at the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee (FIFEC) conference on three occasions, sharing insights on PIP litigation.

A Central Florida native, Allen earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law.

Outside of the office, Allen enjoys giving back by sharing his Eagle Scout experience with his local Scout pack, helping to mentor and guide the next generation. He also values quality time with his wife and three children, embracing family life to the fullest. A favorite personal motto he enjoys sharing is: “When life gives you acorns, make lemonade—and make them wonder how you did it.”
