Kendra Therrell, a Florida native, began her legal career in 2000 with the Orange/Osceola County State Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State Attorney in Orlando, Florida, Kendra spent a majority of her time prosecuting in the Special Victims Unit, prosecuting sensitive and complex cases. After leaving there, Kendra served as a Senior Attorney with the Florida’s Department of Children and Families. She was later appointed by the Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit as a Hearing Officer, where she presided over child support enforcement cases.
Kendra is a zealous advocate both in and out of the courtroom, known for her attention to fine details, especially in cases involving excessive treatment and questionable billing practices. While she always aims for early case resolution, her reputation as a skilled litigator stands out when trial is necessary. With over 75 jury trials to her credit and an average of 3 each year, Kendra’s extensive trial experience underscores her expertise. In 2019, she achieved board certification in civil trial law, a specialty within Florida that only one in twenty attorneys hold due to its rigorous vetting and testing requirements.
Kendra’s exceptional skill and dedication to her craft have earned her membership in the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and the International Society of Barristers (ISOB), both invitation-only organizations requiring peer and judicial nomination. With a commitment to excellence and an impressive track record, Kendra brings invaluable experience and dedication to every case she handles.
