Jonathan Chinchilla focuses his practice on personal injury protection (PIP) matters.
Jonathan attended Florida State University, graduating in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology. After his undergraduate studies, Jonathan attended Florida State University College of Law where he served on the mock trial team and served as president of the Student Bar Association. He graduated in 2015.
Prior to joining Kubicki Draper, Jonathan began his legal career as a public defender handling misdemeanor and felony cases in Pasco and Pinellas counties, taking over 20 cases to jury verdict. After leaving the public defender’s office, Jonathan joined a national auto insurance company as in-house counsel where he worked directly with insurance adjusters on a wide variety of defense matters involving all lines of coverage.
Jonathan was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and moved to Dunedin, Florida when he was a young child, and he has resided in the Tampa Bay Area ever since. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys cooking, playing disc golf, and reading science fiction.
