Jaime Garcia Montes is a skilled defense attorney specializing in complex construction defect litigation, as well as cases involving personal injury such as premises liability and other general liability claims. Jaime has successfully preserved and protected the defensive interests and legal rights of owners, developers, general contractors, trade contractors, and design professionals, among others, in a myriad of disputes ranging from high-rise luxury condominiums and multistory mixed-use developments, to brick-and-mortar stores and single-family homes across the State of Florida.
Licensed to practice in both Florida and Wisconsin, Jaime is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, providing him a broad jurisdictional reach.
Jaime earned his Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School in 2021, where he was an editor and contributor to the Marquette Sports Law Review. He also held active roles in the law school’s Pro Bono Honors Society, Intellectual Property Law Society, and Diversity Inclusion Committee.
