Francesca Zavell practices general civil litigation with an emphasis on premise liability, motor vehicle, commercial dramshop, and assault and battery cases. Prior to joining Kubicki Draper as an Associate, Francesca gained invaluable experience as a Summer Associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.

Originally from La Serena, Chile, Francesca moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida as a child and later attended Florida Atlantic University (FAU), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During her time at FAU, she was an active participant in the Advanced Diplomacy Program, competing in the prestigious National Model United Nations Conference in New York City.

Francesca went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, she interned at the Fourth District Court of Appeal for the State of Florida under the Honorable Judge Melanie G. May. She was also an active member of the Moot Court Society and National Trial Association. Recognized for her commitment to service, Francesca received the NSU Law Pro Bono Bronze Medal Award.
