Long before she began navigating legal disputes, Esther Alsina gained valuable perspective from the passenger seat of her father’s truck. As the daughter of a commercial truck driver, she traveled alongside her father, developing an early appreciation for the people who keep businesses moving and the livelihoods at stake when litigation arises. Those experiences shaped her approach to practice: an allegation sets the stage, but a well-built defense examines the entire narrative.
Esther defends individuals, employees, and businesses in a broad range of disputes, including catastrophic personal injury and premises liability matters, guiding each case toward resolution. Her legal career began supporting attorneys in plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation, where she learned how facts become arguments and arguments shape a case’s narrative. Today, she brings that understanding to her defense practice, examining where a narrative holds and where the evidence tells a different story. Her work begins with listening to the person behind the allegations and ensuring that accusations are measured against the facts.
Esther earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Appellate Advocacy, Essay Writing, and Florida Criminal Procedure. She also earned Dean’s List recognition in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026. This academic foundation informs her approach to practice through research that tests assumptions and defenses built to withstand scrutiny. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
Grounded in empathy and driven by resolve, Esther is committed to giving her clients a clear voice in the litigation process. She understands that being named in a lawsuit can be unfamiliar and deeply personal, and believes effective representation requires both an understanding of what is at stake and a defense built to hold its ground.
Esther’s professional affiliations include The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division and the Cuban American Bar Association.
