Donovan Lovelock’s practice is concentrated on civil litigation. Recognizing the legal process is complicated and stressful for clients, Donovan is committed to providing clear explanations of their rights, evaluating their risk exposure, and guiding them through what to expect each stage of litigation.
A Tampa native, Donovan, earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University before pursuing his legal education at Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. During law school, Donovan served as a Student Attorney in the Tulane Law Juvenile Litigation Clinic, gaining valuable experience advocating for his clients in the courtroom. He also completed externships with the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker and the Honorable Robert M. Murphy at the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, and worked as a law clerk for a firm in Downtown New Orleans. His academic achievements include earning the CALI Award of Excellence in Employment Discrimination, serving as the Senior Articles Editor for The Sports Lawyers Journal, Vol. 26, and earning Tulane’s Certificate of Concentration in Sports Law.
Donovan is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before all Florida State Courts. He is also a member of the C. Roger Vinson American Inn of Court and the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association.
Education
In his free time, Donovan enjoys supporting Florida State Athletics as a member of Seminole Boosters, volunteering with the South Florida Leadership Training Camp, and spending time on the Emerald Coast’s beautiful beaches with his family and friends.
