Dina Piedra specializes in personal injury protection (PIP), fraud investigations, special investigative unit matters (SIU) and examinations under oath (EUO). She is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Dina earned her bachelors degree in political science from Florida State University and her law degree from Barry University. During her school years, Dina developed a commitment to community and public service, serving Philanthropy Chair for Phi Mu Sorority’s annual fundraiser benefitting the Children’s Miracle Network at Florida State University. In law school, Dina was active in the juvenile justice program and completed an internship in juvenile delinquency at the Public Defender’s Office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
Dina began her career as a Public Defender in the Ninth Judicial Circuit, gaining extensive investigative experience and insight to what trial judges expect. In 2006, Dina took her career in a different direction and began handling personal injury protection (PIP) matters, as well as general liability, negligence and underinsured motorist cases. Dina has extensive knowledge in all aspects of PIP, managing cases from inception through trial, including pre-suit fraud investigations, examinations under oath and coverage opinions. Her attention to detail is an asset in evaluating and defending these cases effectively.
