Cristina Alexis Pineda is a civil trial attorney who focuses her practice on insurance defense, with an emphasis on automobile and trucking liability, premises liability—including negligent security— products liability and construction defect. She passionately defends and obtains successful results for her clients in a range of cases, including wrongful deaths and other high-exposure matters.
A South Florida native, Cristina began her legal career in 2016 when she became an Assistant State Attorney with the Broward County State Attorney’s Office. There, she gained extensive litigation experience handling a wide range of criminal cases from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies, including attempted murders. During her tenure, she honed her trial skills, successfully trying over 30 jury trials.
Cristina attended the University of Central Florida for her undergraduate studies where she joined the student chapter of the Phil Alpha Delta professional law fraternity. She graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in legal studies and specializations in litigation & advocacy, as well as criminal law & individual liberties. She then returned to South Florida to attend St. Thomas University School of Law where she earned a place on the Dean’s List and received a Pro Bono Commendation Certificate. Cristina also competed on St. Thomas’ mock trial team serving as both a competitor and executive board member. With a solid foundation in legal education and hands-on trial experience, Cristina is a zealous and dedicated advocate who consistently delivers outstanding representation for her clients.
