Clyde Mathes focuses his practice on personal injury protection matters.
Clyde graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with a bachelors degree in political science and a minor in pre-law. Driven by his passion for public policy and government, Clyde pursued a masters degree in public administration from the University of Central Florida.
After graduating, Clyde worked in the healthcare field, where he became aware of the under-representation of many in society. Motivated by a desire to make a different, he pursued a law degree at Florida A&M University College of Law.
During law school, Clyde interned with Orange County Legal Aid and for Aventus Health, gaining valuable experience before taking the bar exam. He then served as a Public Defender for the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, where he honed his advocacy skills. Clyde later joined Jordan Law where he practiced in business litigation, administrative law, and criminal defense, further broadening his legal experience.
Education
Outside his legal career, Clyde enjoys traveling the world and experiencing local cuisines and shopping at local markets. One of Clyde’s favorite things to do is to shop for vintage luxury items. An avid reader, Clyde prides himself on reading one book each month and is always happy to recommend his latest favorites. With Australia on his bucket list, Clyde hopes to one day live part-time in another country, embracing new cultures and experiences.
