Carter Downs focuses his practice on defending against general liability claims with an emphasis on on automobile accidents and insurance coverage.

Carter brings a diverse legal background to the firm. After graduating with honors from Florida State University College of Law, he spent 4 years assisting clients with real-estate and business transactions. Carter then transitioned to litigation, serving as a public defender for five years. During this time, he represented at all stages of criminal cases, securing multiple not-guilty jury verdicts.
