Benjamin Bourdon currently specializes in complex litigation and defense of personal injury claims. In Benjamin is also skilled in defamation as well as intellectual property and licensing related to software and SaaS applications in both public and private sectors. Benjamin is specifically experienced in the navigation of federal processes for registration of Copyrights via US Copyright Office and registration/prosecution and award of Federal Trademarks via US Patent and Trademark Office, as well as an IP owner’s legal best practices and policies for the ongoing maintenance, policing and protection of IP rights for copyright, trademarks and trade secrets on the federal and state level.

Additionally, his strong background in corporate governance and compliance, covers policies, practices, data security, and privacy. He’s well-equipped to navigate public procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, too.

Although Benjamin has called Florida home since 2003, he proudly identifies as a Chicago native now and always. Before embarking on his legal career, he enjoyed a successful tenure in real estate financing.

Beyond his professional experience and achievements, Benjamin is deeply committed to public service. He champions equality, social justice, labor rights, and environmental causes and is a strong advocate for the ethical treatment of animals. His dedication to making a difference in the community drives his work both in and out of the courtroom.
