Beatriz Appelkvist’s practice spans a broad range of areas with a focus on personal injury.

Prior to attending law school, Beatriz graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, concentrating on Latin America, from the University of Florida. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University.

During her time in law school, Beatriz distinguished herself as the President of the Hispanic Law Student Association. She also gained invaluable experience as a judicial extern for Honorable Spencer Eig at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. There, she sharpened her analytical and litigation skills which provide her with practical insights that she applies in her current practice.

In her free time, Beatriz loves salsa dancing, spending time with her family, and taking scenic walks. Embracing the motto, “you don’t grow when you’re comfortable,” one of her proudest personal achievements is successfully performing in front of a large audience with her salsa team.
