Ashlie Avila focuses on defending cases involving premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, and labor and employment.

Her journey with Kubicki Draper began as a law clerk, demonstrating her dedication and commitment. Ashlie’s academic achievements are equally impressive, having graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University in 2019, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. During her undergraduate years, she gained valuable insights into the legal field through an internship at the State Attorney’s Office for the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida.

Ashlie continued to excel academically and was awarded an Alumni Merit Scholarship to Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude in 2023. Her consistent excellence in law school is reflected in her regular inclusion on the dean’s list and her receipt of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Property and Medical Malpractice.

Not only a diligent student, Ashlie was also actively engaged in the legal community. She served on the executive board of Nova Law Review as the Executive Editor, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to the field. Ashlie’s exceptional academic and professional background makes her a valuable asset to our legal team.
