Andrea Teresa Mathwich handles federal and state court litigation matters in various areas of the law, including personal injury and premises liability. She previously clerked for Ryder System Inc., in Washington, D.C., working on numerous contractual matters and negotiations, some involving international trade. During her time in Washington, Andrea also clerked for the Department of Homeland Security at which she gained experience with federal matters.

In 2020, Andrea received her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. During her time in law school, Andrea was a writer and the editor for the Journal of Energy and Environmental Law, and she was President of the Latino Law Students Association. Andrea participated in arbitration and negotiation competitions during law school; and, she eventually graduated with the Dean’s Recognition for Professional Development. She was also a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of D.C.

Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Andrea completed her undergraduate studies in broadcast journalism and political science from the University of Miami. She also focused on nutrition and physical fitness. Andrea is fluent in both Spanish and English.
