Ananta A. Rampersad handles matters in various areas of the law, including alternative dispute resolution, bad faith, insurance coverage, fraud and personal injury protection. She is dually licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar Association and the Bar Association of Trinidad and Tobago. Ananta began her legal journey with an education in British jurisprudence, followed by a series of roles in both the private and public sectors in Trinidad and Tobago. In her most recent public sector appointment, Ananta served as a legal advisor with the government of Trinidad and Tobago.
Ananta holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of the West Indies, a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding School of Law, a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from the University of Windsor and, a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from St. Thomas University School of Law.
With two decades of experience, her credentials and legal experience are assets she brings to each case assignment, focusing on unique goals and achieving positive outcomes. Prior to her admission to the Florida Bar, Ananta served as a senior paralegal to the managing partner of a prominent Florida insurance defense firm where she honed both her legal research skills and managed high-volume portfolios. Since 2011, she has exclusively practiced insurance defense law focusing on personal injury protection in Florida. Her broad experience combined with her interdisciplinary approach, enables her to navigate the complex landscape of insurance defense with ease.
