Amit Mathur specializes in handling complex civil cases, focusing on the defense of high-stakes construction defect claims, premises liability issues, automotive claims and commercial disputes. Originally from Michigan, Amit completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University before pursuing law school at Washington University in St. Louis.

Beginning his legal journey as an Assistant State Attorney for Miami-Dade County, Amit served as chief counsel on numerous felony criminal cases, achieving success in multiple jury and bench trials. Following his role as an Assistant State Attorney, he joined a Miami-based law firm, where he defended nationally recognized insurance carriers against third-party liability claims. In this capacity, Amit provided counsel on matters of liability, coverage, and trial strategy.
