Caryn Bellus and Barbara Fox, of the Miami office, obtained an affirmance of a Summary Judgment in favor of the third-Party Defendant on the claims against it for indemnification. In order to obtain an affirmance in this case, Caryn and Barbara had to convince the Appellate Court not only that Summary Judgment on the indemnification claim was properly entered, but also that the trial court properly granted a directed verdict in favor of their co-defendant and properly severed the third-party claim from the underlying case.
