overview

Aram Barikian specializes in navigating complex civil and business litigation matters across Florida. With a keen focus on delivering expert legal counsel, Aram adeptly handles both transactional and litigation aspects, particularly in defending hospitality and retail premises, management firms, real estate developers, franchisees, and contractors.

Before establishing himself in Florida, Aram accrued over a decade of legal expertise as a senior attorney within two prestigious public defense offices in New York City. There, he managed the entirety of civil litigation arising from the criminal justice system, including landlord/tenant disputes, lease intricacies, civil rights cases, and a range of employment licensing issues with various state agencies. Additionally, Aram honed his skills as a Staff Attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where he conducted extensive discovery projects involving intricate legal and financial documentation from both private and public entities, including several financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies.

Most recently, Aram contributed his legal prowess to the business litigation department of a prominent Miami-based AmLaw 200 firm. In this role, he diligently represented businesses in commercial disputes, facilitated transactions, and addressed general corporate matters.
