Christopher M. Utrera is an associate practicing in the firm’s Miami office. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida and earned his undergraduate degree from Florida International University in 2006, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in International Relations. In 2009, Mr. Utrera earned his law degree from Florida International University’s College of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Utrera was a member of the Board of Advocates and selected to be a member of the Trial Team. He participated in the school’s Judicial Externship Program and was a Certified Legal Intern with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. Mr. Utrera was the recipient of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Ted Klein Memorial Scholarship.
Mr. Utrera is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association and American Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
