Ms. Rankin's practice from the Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach offices concentrates in the areas of real property law, commercial and business transactions, commercial leasing and the formation and representation of business entities. She represents owners and lenders in commercial real estate and asset based loan transactions, loan workouts and restructures, complex construction and land development transactions, as well as business and partnership acquisition and sale transactions. Ms. Rankin also provides representation of businesses and entrepreneurs including those in the construction, hotel, restaurant and gasoline service station industries and representation of medical practices. She provides expertise in title matters and issues title insurance through the firm which is an agent for major national title underwriters. Ms. Rankin has extensive experience representing governmental entities as special outside counsel which has included handling the real estate transactions, title work and eminent domain suit preparation for the acquisition of over 900 land parcels by Broward County, Florida, pursuant to its expansion of the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
