Mrs. Quintana-Hedges was born in Leon, Nicaragua and raised in Miami, FL. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Miami, with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science and Minor in Business in May of 1997. Mrs. Quintana-Hedges received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in December of 2001. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Quintana-Hedges worked as a news and television producer.

Mrs. Quintana-Hedges is a former President and current Board Member of the Coconut Grove Chapter of the Junior Chamber International. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, Defense Bar, and Federal Communications Bar Association. Mrs. Quintana-Hedges practices in the areas of products liability, construction defects, toxic waste and hazardous, negligence security, premises liability, defamation, accounting malpractice, and professional liability.
