Mr. Razavi is an experienced civil defense litigator in downtown Miami who has represented clients in a variety of matters in insurance litigation defense, with an emphasis on products liability, automobile accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and closed-head injury suits, as well as substantial exposure to first-party property claims. He has formulated case strategies from inception, including conducting all discovery, examinations under oath, expert depositions, trial depositions, summary judgments, and mediation.
As a trial court litigator, Mr. Razavi has successfully argued in front of the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida and has prepared and prevailed on an Appellee brief in the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. His accomplishments include having successfully drafted and argued a Motion for Summary Judgment in a multi-million dollar closed-head injury case that was also recently upheld by the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. Mr. Razavi has prepared corporate-level memorandums directing changes in claims handling and coverage issues for a national insurance company. He has a keen understanding of the legal dynamic between carriers and their insureds during the course of litigation. Having handled both tort and coverage claims during his career has put him at a distinct advantage to fully appreciate this delicate interplay.
