A native of Florida, Mr. Anderson is a lead shareholder at Kubicki Draper’s Jacksonville office. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of North Florida. He received his law degree, with Honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in 1999. Mr. Anderson is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Florida, including the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Anderson worked as a graphic artist in Jacksonville, frequently working with local attorneys in the design and production of eye-catching and persuasive demonstrative aids. In fact, this interaction is what sparked his interest in the law, and in particular, civil litigation. In addition to an artistic background, Mr. Anderson is an F.A.A. certified private pilot and avid exotic car restorer with an extensive knowledge and keen interest in all things mechanical. This insight provides him with a head start in understanding technical issues often arising in automobile accident and products liability cases.
His practice areas include all aspects of personal injury litigation, focusing primarily on defending claims of automobile and trucking negligence, premises liability, products liability and UM insurance defense. He also regularly represents clients involved in litigating ancillary aspects of insurance claims, such as coverage disputes and actions involving rights of subrogation, contribution and indemnification. His entire legal career has been devoted to working for and on behalf of insurance carriers and their insureds. He also recently completed a term as President of the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel.
Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Anderson enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, Homaira, and their terrific son, Ethan.
