Samantha M. Ketant is an associate in the firm’s Miami office, specializing in all aspects of SIU/Fraud, Personal Injury Protection, and automobile insurance litigation.
Prior to the joining the firm, Samantha worked in a civil litigation law firm where she managed over 250 complex litigation cases from national insurance companies from intake through trial preparation for over three years. In addition, Samantha clerked at the Law office of Sheldon J. Schlesinger in Ft. Lauderdale in her first summer of law school to assist in the management of over 1,200 claims for the Engle Tobacco Class Action. She returned in her second summer of law school to assist in the trial preparation and litigation of the Engle tobacco cases that resulted in multi-million dollar verdicts against several tobacco companies.
Samantha was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated from Msgr. Edward Pace High School with top honors, before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In Spring 2010, Samantha received her Juris Doctorate from University of Florida, Levin College of Law with honors in Appellate Advocacy and Dean’s List.
While earning her law degree, Samantha served as Editor-in-Chief of Entertainment Law Review and was selected as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research & Writing and Teaching Assistant for Appellate Advocacy. When not in the law library, she actively contributed her free time as President of the Caribbean Law Students Association, served three years as member of the Law College Council, and worked as the WESTLAW Campus Representative.
