Rebecca L. Brock, a sixth generation Florida native, is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law. Rebecca graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 1998 with a Book Award for academic excellence in Trial Practice. She earned her bachelor’s degree, with honors, from the University of Florida in 1994, and was selected for membership in Florida Blue Key. Rebecca began her legal career as a prosecutor with the State Attorney’s Office of the 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County. As an Assistant State Attorney, she tried over 50 cases in the felony, misdemeanor and domestic battery divisions. Rebecca has developed a complex civil trial practice that includes the defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims, professional liability claims, premises liability and negligent security claims, business disputes, insurance coverage disputes, complex multi-party litigation, bad faith and claims handling. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida and has tried numerous civil cases to verdict.
Rebecca has maintained an AV-preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 2005, and has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers for her expertise in civil litigation. She is on the Executive Board of the Palm Beach Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Rebecca is active in the Palm Beach County Bar where she serves on the Board of Directors for the North County Section and is a member of the Judicial Relations Committee. Rebecca presently serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Florida College of Law. She is an Emeritus member of the Craig S. Barnard Inns of Court in Palm Beach County. Rebecca has lectured on topics including bad faith and proposals for settlement.
