Mitchell Schermer specializes in the practice areas of Construction Defect, Premises Liability, Negligent Security, and Products Liability cases. He believes that no two cases are alike, and employs case-specific strategies designed to achieve the best result possible, while always putting the client’s needs first.
Prior to joining Kubicki Draper, he practiced at a civil litigation defense firm, where he handled a variety of cases, including liquor liability, negligent security, premises liability, and construction defect claims. Prior noteworthy case results include obtaining Summary Judgment for a Commercial Property Developer in a Wrongful Death Action.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Mitchell is a 2012 graduate of Florida State University, where he obtained a B.A. in International Affairs and Political Science, graduating cum laude. He is a 2015 graduate of Stetson University College of Law, where he served as Student Bar Association President his third year. Additionally, while enrolled at Stetson University College of Law, he served as a Research Assistant to Professor Mark D. Bauer and as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Pamela A.M. Campbell of Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit.
Mitchell is a fan of Florida State University Athletics, and in his spare time, enjoys boating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
