Michelle Diaz specializes in First and Third Party Practice as well as various issue related to Insurance Coverage. Prior to joining Kubicki Draper as an Associate, Michelle was a Summer Associate in the Miami office.
Michelle was raised in Miami and is equally fluent in both English and Spanish. Michelle attended Florida State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and International Affairs. At Florida State, she was part of the Leadership Board of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. During her undergraduate studies, Michelle received a minor in French when she studied abroad at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris, France.
Michelle received her law degree from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad College of Law in 2017. During her first year as a law student, Michelle served as a Judicial Assistant to the Honorable Judge Garcia Wood in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. While in law school, Michelle served as an Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review. Her comment Will Florida Follow Georgia in Emergency Physician Medical Malpractice Reform?, 40 NOVA. L. REV. 185 was published in Fall 2015. Additionally, Michelle served as Vice President of the Tort Law Society, a Teaching Assistant for Torts, and as an Advocate for the Nova Trial Association.
Throughout her law school years, Michelle was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient and was awarded Dean’s List every year. She was also a Silver Medal Award Recipient for her numerous pro bono work hours contributed to the community. In May 2017, Michelle Graduated Cum Laude from the College of Law and obtained her Juris Doctor.
