Michael Fogarty is an Associate in the firm’s Miami Office. He went to the University of Miami School of Law, graduating in 2003, and The University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate work, receiving a B.A. in Philosophy.
Seeking immediate trial experience after law school, Michael accepted a position as Assistant Public Defender, in Ft. Myers, Florida. In furtherance of his desire to continue more litigation and trial-based, areas of legal practice, Michael move back to the east coast of Florida, accepting a position with the Ft. Lauderdale Public Defender.
After some time, Michael exited the criminal practice arena, in favor of civil litigation, accepting a position as Associate General Counsel for a large insurance carrier. There he was able to work on, and resolve some of the more complex and exhaustively litigated Personal Injury Protection cases in Florida.
Michael is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but has been living in Florida since beginning law school in 2000. He also completed his MBA from Nova Southeastern University in December 2014.
