Kara Carper has years of concentrated experience in handling all types of first-party insurance defense cases and Personal Injury Protection litigation. Kara is well-versed in handling fraud and material misrepresentation claims, both in litigation and at the pre-suit stage through Examinations Under Oath, as she has been engaged in project work arising out of the Special Investigative Units of several major insurance carriers since 2008. In addition, Kara is experienced in handling vehicle theft and all variety of property damage claims, including glass claims.
Kara prides herself on providing detail-oriented, personalized service to her clients. Kara personally handles each case in order to identify issues and outline the litigation plan in the early stages in an effort to provide cost-effective defense to her clients.
Kara was born and raised in Northwest Indiana, and moved to Florida in 2007. She received her B.A. from Purdue University in 2003 and then attained her J.D. from Valparaiso University in 2006. During her second year of law school, she participated in a study-abroad program at Cambridge University, England taking courses in International Law and Economics. During her third year of law school, she clerked for Superior Court Judge Stephen King. She became licensed to practice in Indiana in 2006 and then subsequently licensed in Florida in 2007.
